30 Days of Gratitude…Day 12…..

The 100 th Monkey

If money were no issue, I would save the world.

How often have you thought that to yourself, your heart going out to the homeless, the hungry, the horrors that we see daily happening to our planet and the people, animals, and nature on a daily basis?

Where do we start when it’s all so complicated?

It’s all so over whelming that a lot of people just look the other way and carry on with their lives, just doing the best they can.

Then there are others who choose to join the fight and protest.

Many great changes have come about through protesting.

Many people do their sharing on social media, sharing petitions that need to be signed.

There are some who choose to vote with their ” big green purse” who do the research and choose to buy only from those companies, and put their money in the banks that support the common good, not the profit-mongering corporations who have a hidden agenda.

Then there are the bloggers.

There are many who call themselves “Light workers” and those who are just sharing their beautiful hearts with the world, who don’t realize that they are also light workers.

As we enter into the Piscean Age, our higher senses are being fine-tuned.

Our vibrations are becoming more sensitive to spiritual matters.

As humans, we don’t come with directions when we are born on how to navigate our lives.

We can only rely on our family environment, our friends, our community and our world.

Scary thought isn’t it?

As many of those aspects have been broken or tampered with , and leave us wondering ” What is real?”

Many people are turning to the “blog world” to learn the truth, searching for answers that have been hidden from them in the process of growing up.

As bloggers we have a responsibility to stand on our truths, to speak our minds, our hearts, and to share the beautiful, the profound, the ordinary, the unusual, for anyone who needs it.

I’ve often said, ” It takes a village”.  We are building cyber-villages through blogging.

Each person can choose who will be in their village, and customize it to their own needs.

It’s the hundredth monkey theory, when it comes to saving the world.

It may sometimes feel like an uphill battle in a world that seems to be falling apart, and it feels as though we are going backwards at times, but this is just the “limbo” period that I talk about.

It’s a time to persevere, stay strong in our truths, and “chop wood and carry water”.

We really are on an upward journey.

Everyone has a role to play.

There are the protagonist and the antagonists in every play.

Without the contrasts, we might become complacent, and not feel there would be a need to act.

It’s important for each person to know that you are saving the world every day by the choices you make.

it doesn’t cost anything to offer a smile to a stranger.

A smile of gratitude and recognition that We Are All One!

Today I am grateful that I can do my part to save the world by every word, every thought, and every act that comes from my heart.

It takes more than money to save the world.

It takes a profound spiritual cleansing, and that can only happen by each of us shining our light, igniting a bonfire.

In Gratitude for all that you do every day, in your quest to save the world.

And So It Is!

How many of us long for our own comfy cottage in the woods? I know I do! We can make our own comfy cottage, right here, right now, no matter where we live. I'm a mother of two, grandmother of two boys, interior designer who thinks out-of-the-box, up cycler, and interested in just about anything related to living comfortably and finding contentment, connecting with the Great Spirit in the natural world and respect for all beings who walk the earth.

  1. What beautiful and profound words you’ve written here Lorna. Yes, I believe you’re right, as bloggers we can all make a big difference in spreading words of positivity.

  2. Hubs and I were just talking this morning about making our home an oasis, an idea from another friend who writes. We need a space where we can be strengthened spiritually before venturing out into the chaos of the world, even if it’s going to the grocery store. My goal today is to not use cuss words, be mindful of the words that actually come into my mind and out my mouth.
