30 Days of Gratitude…Day 25……

Opened this fortune cookie on day 28

Getting out of our own way…..

Sometimes, I hear a person say they wish they had this or that, as though they never will, or have no choice in the matter, or ” can’t afford it”.

My heart goes out to them.

In essence, they are saying that either they don’t deserve it or that life just hasn’t dealt them the right hand of cards so they can be a winner, too, and they’ve given up.

I want to just grab them by both arms and shake them.

I want them to know that anything is possible.

But first, we must train our minds, our lines of thought.

If we think and talk like we are poor, then we will have those experiences.

They will be delivered right to our door just as though we had ordered from the local restaurant.

The universe doesn’t judge what we focus on.

It just delivers whatever we ask for, non-judgmentally, unconditionally, just as we imagined it in our minds.

On the other hand, if we want wealth and prosperity, we need to use positive affirmative words, and thoughts, and train our minds in this way.

Each of us has that responsibility to ourselves, and to our families to see the ultimate potential in everything.

You may have read one of my blogs where I said that I had questions that weren’t finding answers.

On my recent trip to Hawaii, I was seated next to a woman about my age, and we hit it off.  Usually, when I fly, I say hello to my seat mate, and then either read or sleep.

We talked the entire five hour trip.  And during our conversation, two of my questions were answered.  We are now friends and I feel as though another wish of mine has been fulfilled.  I met a new friend.

You may have read my blog  Hanging in the Balance.

I’m still waiting to hear back from the job I’m hoping to get that my friend referred me to.

In other words, I’ve been living on a little bit of money, and a lot of hope!

A week ago, I cleared my storage unit and learned how to sell some furniture on local Facebook pages.  Hanging in the Balance

One week later, I’m invited to Hawaii to help my daughter empty her storage unit, house sit and spend quality time with my ten year old grandson.

Today, all of this gratitude that I feel welling up in my heart, is a direct result of the clearing I made of 27 things for 27 days, 27 Days to the next Miracle ,  and now the gratitude journey that I’m sharing with you, is showing it’s bright shining face back to me.

If an action is continued for 28 days it forms a habit.

We can choose to live in a state of gratitude or not.

Today, make a choice to be thankful for this beautiful earth that supports us and for all of the creatures and critters that walk with us on our journey.

How many of us long for our own comfy cottage in the woods? I know I do! We can make our own comfy cottage, right here, right now, no matter where we live. I'm a mother of two, grandmother of two boys, interior designer who thinks out-of-the-box, up cycler, and interested in just about anything related to living comfortably and finding contentment, connecting with the Great Spirit in the natural world and respect for all beings who walk the earth.
