What comes to mind as we wind down to the 27th day of decluttering?
We can gather our thoughts and take another look at the Bagua.
Are there any areas left untouched?
For me, it was the self-knowledge and illumination corner on the lower left.
In my home, it sits at the bottom of the stairs.
I’ve tried to maximize this area with shelves that hold some crystals and some inspiring pictures. It was pretty dusty, and looking pretty cluttered. And I hadn’t been meditating, which to me is a sign that it needs a little TLC.
You can see it in the above picture in the lower right hand corner.
One day later, it is still a work in progress, as I juggle in my mind what should take priority; the Wisdom corner, or the curtain rods in the upstairs bedroom.
I know, big decision! I should probably go and finish the Wisdom corner so that I can make better decisions. haha That’s a sneak peek at the curtain panel fabric and the bracket that I am still working on getting the screws to go in further.
Today was not the day for either one, as I have had a lot on my mind, thinking about this whole clutter clearing adventure that we are on. I am planning to extend the process with you and take a deeper look. I hope that you will stay on the journey with me. So stay tuned! ************************************************************
You may have noticed that I use crystals in many areas in my home.
I feel they enhance the energy of my space and make it feel more grounded, protected, and peaceful.
I occasionally wear natural gemstones on my body.
I’m also known to bring leaves, rocks, and twigs home when I’ve been on a walk.
These items draw my attention. I like to bring them into my home so that I can feel closer to the natural world.
I am currently taking a course to learn more about the attributes of natural stones, and will share what I learn and how you can use them in your home.
One or two more days, and our journey will be finished here. From my own perspective, I can only say that we have only touched the tip of this ice-berg to get it to start melting. There is so much to do. There is another, deeper level to explore. We’ve come this far, and I hope that even if you haven’t been decluttering every day with me, that you will share what has been happening for you during this process. And to those of you who already have stepped forward, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. If I have only had an impression on one person, then my work here has been a success.
I cannot wait to hear from you.
