How many Lifetimes will it take?

I tend to read a lot.  Sometimes, I wonder if I will have enough time to learn about everything that I’m interested in — in – one – lifetime…

I’ve spent far too much money buying books on-line.  But recently, I re-discovered the Public Library!

If there’s a book that I want to read on-line, I first check to see if it’s at the library.  Then, if I really like it, I still order it on-line, so that I can have it for my personal stash.

I devour anything about decorating, feng shui, Native American traditions, and most recently anything about Essential oils and aroma-therapy.

I prefer to hold a book in my hands and turn the pages – I like to skip ahead sometimes, or put tabs on pages that I want to return to.  I like the way the pages smell, and to wonder about the name written in the front cover by the previous owner – or to wonder what the child was thinking when they scribbled on the page with crayon?

Were they just being naughty or in their mind, they thought the page needed some color?  I like to think that they were decorating the page with some added color, and they took the initiative to express their creativity.

I hope you enjoy reading just as much as I do, and it doesn’t matter what format you choose to use.  I just wanted to share my experience with you.

  1. I love books! The look, the feel, the smell. Sometimes, I buy a book based on the how I’m attracted to the cover, and it serves to broaden my mind because I may not have picked it up otherwise. When I don’t have the funds to buy another book, I go to the book store just to sniff the books. 🙂
